What You\'ll Be Doing
- Inspect construction and maintenance activities for roads and associated infrastructure improvements.
- Monitor curb and gutter works, streets, sidewalks, landscaping, and related civil works.
- Inspect drainage and utility works
for compliance with relevant drawings and specifications.
- Monitor traffic-control and lighting works associated with infrastructure construction.
- Inspect the installation of electrical equipment associated with traffic signals, ramp metering, and street lighting.
- Observe irrigation and planting activities included within project works.
- Inspect roadway and overhead sign removal and installation.
- Monitor the installation of temporary and permanent signs and delineation.
- Inspect building and facility construction activities and associated site development where included within the project.
- Maintain continuous surveillance of assigned inspection activities to identify deviations from applicable requirements.
- Take project photographs daily and maintain organized photographic records.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum three years of experience in construction supervision for infrastructure projects.
- Practical experience with road works and utilities.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
- Ability to understand construction specifications and processes relevant to civil inspection.
- Strong analytical capability.
- Ability to carry out assigned inspection responsibilities independently.
