Key Responsibilities
* Inspect road construction and maintenance activities, including curbs, gutters, streets, sidewalks, landscaping, and related civil improvements.
* Monitor infrastructure works covering drainage, utilities, traffic control, street lighting, and associated site development activities.
* Review installation work for traffic signals, ramp metering systems, street lighting equipment, temporary signs, permanent signs, and road delineation.
* Check irrigation, planting, roadway signage removal, overhead sign installation, and related external works for compliance with approved requirements.
* Carry out continuous site surveillance to confirm that construction activities meet applicable codes, standards, drawings, and specifications.
* Identify defects, quality concerns, or non-compliant work and report findings to the engineering and supervision teams for corrective action.
* Support inspection of building works, facility construction, and related site development elements when included in the project scope.
* Take daily project photographs and maintain clear records of inspection observations, site progress, and activity updates.
* Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders to support timely resolution of technical and quality-related site issues.
* Follow site safety, quality, and environmental procedures while carrying out inspection duties across active construction areas.
Ideal Profile
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in civil site inspection, particularly across roads, utilities, drainage, and infrastructure construction. A strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and inspection procedures is important for success in this role.
* Diploma or Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in construction supervision or civil inspection for infrastructure projects.
* Experience with road works, utilities, drainage systems, traffic control works, lighting, landscaping, and site development.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, construction specifications, and project documentation.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and make practical site observations.
* Good communication skills for coordinating with contractors, engineers, and project teams.
