Role Context
This position supports AECOM\'s Transportation business line within
its Middle East and Africa operations. The Digital Delivery Technician will prepare and maintain technical drawings for sewerage, stormwater, irrigation, roads and utility infrastructure in Dubai. The role combines CAD production, site-data verification, document control and multidisciplinary coordination throughout construction delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and revise technical drawings, layouts and as-built documentation.
* Produce coordinated construction drawings using MicroStation and AutoCAD.
* Interpret engineering design inputs and convert them into accurate drawing packages.
* Update drawings in accordance with project specifications and authority requirements.
* Maintain compliance with RTA, Dubai Municipality and DEWA standards.
* Verify existing sewerage, stormwater and irrigation network information.
* Review as-built records from drainage, irrigation and roads projects.
* Conduct site surveys to collect and confirm construction information.
* Coordinate with inspectors to verify work progress and actual site conditions.
* Prepare redline markups, section details and pipeline profiles.
* Develop and update shaft layouts based on verified field information.
* Coordinate with engineers, inspectors and document-control teams.
* Support timely submission, review and approval of project drawings.
* Review contractors\' as-built and shop drawing submissions.
* Confirm that submitted drawings accurately represent completed site works.
* Provide drafting support during active construction.
* Update documentation to reflect approved modifications and site execution.
* Prepare utility coordination drawings across multiple services.
* Identify potential conflicts between utilities and infrastructure components.
* Maintain an organized digital archive of drawings and revisions.
* Apply approved CAD layering, scaling and title-block standards.
* Ensure all deliverables meet AECOM quality requirements.
