Key Responsibilities
* Participate in AECOM’s ADVANCE graduate program and complete structured development activities that build technical, business, and personal skills.
* Support experienced engineers with civil engineering design tasks, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings.
* Collect, organize, and analyze project data under supervision to support engineering decisions and design development.
* Use engineering software to solve basic civil engineering problems and prepare accurate technical outputs.
* Assist in preparing design documentation, drawings, reports, calculations, and supporting project information.
* Perform assigned work in line with agreed project budget, schedule, quality expectations, and supervision requirements.
* Build analytical and design skills by contributing to infrastructure, transportation, and civil engineering project tasks.
* Coordinate with engineers, designers, and project team members to understand technical requirements and design workflows.
* Review instructions carefully and apply engineering principles to complete tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Learn how multidisciplinary teams deliver civil engineering projects from early design stages through detailed documentation.
* Take feedback from senior engineers and use it to improve technical understanding, design quality, and professional judgment.
* Contribute positively to team discussions, learning sessions, and project coordination activities.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
* Recent graduate who completed studies within the last 24 months or no later than September 2024.
* Minimum GPA of 3.2 or above, in line with AECOM graduate program eligibility requirements.
* Master’s degree holders should have started the master’s program within 12 months of completing the bachelor’s degree.
* Candidates with more than 1 year of postgraduate work experience are not eligible for this graduate program.
* Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar engineering software.
* Strong interest in civil engineering design, infrastructure projects, transportation systems, and technical problem-solving.
* Able to work effectively in a team environment and learn from experienced engineers.
* Good analytical ability with willingness to develop calculation, drawing, data review, and documentation skills.
* Organized, motivated, and able to follow supervision while building confidence in professional engineering practice.
