Key Responsibilities
* Support quantity surveying and cost management teams with digital tools, data analysis, reporting, and automation.
* Collaborate with quantity surveyors to integrate digital workflows into cost planning, cost control, and value engineering activities.
* Collect, organize, clean, and analyze project data to provide useful insights for cost management decisions.
* Maintain and update project databases to ensure accurate and current information is available to delivery teams.
* Create information-rich reports and dashboards using data visualization tools such as Power BI.
* Develop digital templates, workflows, and automation scripts to improve team efficiency and reduce manual effort.
* Support data integrity by following company standards, protocols, and quality requirements.
* Assist teams with construction industry digital tools such as BIM platforms, CostX, Revit, Navisworks, ACC, Solibri, Aconex, and similar systems.
* Provide technical support and basic training to team members on digital tools, reporting methods, and data workflows.
* Use Python, SQL, VBA, Dynamo, or similar scripting tools to support automation and process improvement.
* Work with cross-functional teams to support adoption of digital practices across project and cost management activities.
* Research emerging technologies and recommend practical improvements that enhance project delivery.
* Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and productive team environment by sharing knowledge and supporting collaboration.
* Communicate data findings clearly to project stakeholders, including team members across different disciplines and seniority levels.
Ideal Profile
* UAE National with a valid family book.
* Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Digital Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
* Strong interest in using data science, analytics, automation, and digital tools within the construction and infrastructure sector.
* Understanding of construction industry digital platforms such as Revit, Navisworks, ACC, Solibri, Aconex, CostX, or similar tools.
* Advanced skills in Python, SQL, Power BI, and relevant data analysis or visualization software.
* Experience or strong interest in automation using Dynamo, Python, VBA, or similar scripting languages.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn project data into practical insights.
* Good communication and teamwork skills, including confidence to explain digital tools or data findings to groups.
* Organized approach to time management, documentation, reporting, and project support.
* Able to work with multiple stakeholders on complex projects while remaining accurate, proactive, and collaborative.
* Willingness to positively challenge ideas, support digital adoption, and contribute to innovation within project teams.
