Key Responsibilities
* Participate in AECOM’s ADVANCE graduate program and complete structured learning activities that build business, technical, and professional skills.
* Assist with pre-contract duties including cost modelling, cost planning, benchmarking, value analysis, and risk analysis.
* Support design meetings by preparing cost-related inputs, notes, updates, and commercial information for review.
* Assist with procurement activities and preparation of contract documentation under senior guidance.
* Support post-contract tasks including site progress meetings, valuations, change control, due diligence, and financial reporting.
* Help prepare cost reports, measurement records, commercial schedules, and project documentation for cost management teams.
* Work with senior quantity surveyors, project managers, engineers, and design teams to support accurate commercial project delivery.
* Contribute to valuation reviews, payment assessments, cost tracking, and contract administration activities.
* Learn how construction cost management services are delivered across different project stages and client requirements.
* Support project teams with timely commercial information, organized records, and accurate documentation.
* Work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams when required.
* Engage with mentoring and professional development activities to support progress toward chartership.
Ideal Profile
* Recently graduated or final year student in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
* Recent graduate who completed studies within the last 24 months or no later than September 2024.
* Minimum GPA of 3.2 or above, in line with AECOM graduate program eligibility requirements.
* Master’s degree holders should have started the master’s program within 12 months of completing the bachelor’s degree.
* Strong motivation to develop technical and professional skills within a multidisciplinary consultancy environment.
* Interest in cost planning, contract documentation, procurement, valuations, financial reporting, and commercial project controls.
* Good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work with engineers, cost managers, clients, and project teams.
* Organized and analytical approach to handling cost data, documentation, measurements, and commercial project information.
* Willingness to learn pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying practices under professional supervision.
