Key Responsibilities
* Support pre-contract quantity surveying duties, including cost modelling, cost planning, benchmarking, value analysis, and risk analysis.
* Assist senior cost managers and quantity surveyors with design meeting inputs, procurement activities, and preparation of contract documentation.
* Help prepare cost reports, measurement schedules, estimates, tender documents, and project commercial records.
* Support post-contract activities, including site progress meetings, valuations, financial reporting, due diligence, and change control procedures.
* Work with project teams to review construction cost information and maintain accurate commercial documentation.
* Assist in monitoring project costs, contract changes, variations, and payment-related information under the guidance of senior team members.
* Collaborate with engineers, cost consultants, project managers, and client teams to support smooth project delivery.
* Participate in the ADVANCE graduate program to develop business, communication, technical, and professional skills.
* Take part in mentoring, structured learning, and development activities that support progress toward professional chartership.
* Contribute to multidisciplinary project teams with a positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
* Maintain organized records and follow internal procedures for cost management, reporting, and project documentation.
Ideal Profile
* Recently graduated or final year student in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
* Candidate must have graduated within the last 24 months or no later than September 2024 to meet Graduate Program eligibility requirements.
* Minimum GPA of 3.2 or above is required.
* If holding a master’s degree, the program should have started within 12 months of completing the bachelor’s degree to show continuous education.
* Strong interest in construction cost management, quantity surveying, procurement, contracts, and project financial control.
* Good communication skills with the ability to work with consultants, engineers, project teams, and client representatives.
* Strong teamwork mindset with the ability to learn in a multidisciplinary professional environment.
* Motivated to build technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and professional confidence through structured graduate development.
* Organized, detail-focused, and willing to take responsibility for assigned tasks while learning from experienced professionals.
