Role Context
The Graphic Designer - Creative Design will support Parsons by transforming technical, corporate, and proposal content into clear, professional, and visually consistent design outputs. The role strengthens client-facing communication by preparing layouts, graphics, charts, diagrams, slides, and print-ready materials that follow company style standards while improving clarity, readability, and presentation quality across complex documents.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare complex graphic design layouts, artwork, and copy arrangements for proposals, presentations, reports, newsletters, technical papers, and visual communication materials.
* Apply company style manual standards, approved formats, brand rules, and document presentation guidelines across all assigned work.
* Work with technical writers, editors, authors, and internal requestors to review artwork, text, and supporting content for assigned documents.
* Recommend improvements that enhance clarity, consistency, readability, visual accuracy, and alignment with company communication standards.
* Design and produce reproduction-ready graphics including brochures, flyers, newsletters, slides, charts, plots, diagrams, tables, sketches, isometrics, viewgraphs, posters, signs, and certificates.
* Modify existing artwork, templates, graphics, and document layouts to meet updated project, proposal, or communication requirements.
* Support functional design teams by completing assigned graphics and document production work within agreed schedules.
* Prepare reproduction details such as reduction sizing, output quantities, paper choices, ink requirements, and print production guidance.
* Review final design outputs for formatting accuracy, visual balance, production readiness, and consistency with approved design standards.
* Assist with training new employees when required and help review work prepared by junior graphic designers.
* Manage multiple design assignments at the same time while maintaining accuracy, file organization, and deadline discipline.
* Maintain clean source files, final artwork, print-ready outputs, and supporting design assets for future reference.
* Perform additional graphic design, document layout, and visual communication duties as required by the project or corporate team.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field is required.
* Minimum 6 years of related graphic design experience is required.
* UAE work experience is mandatory.
* Strong proficiency in current graphic design technology and software used for professional design assignments.
* Advanced graphic design ability with solid understanding of layout, typography, spacing, composition, visual hierarchy, and brand consistency.
* Thorough knowledge of graphics production techniques, reproduction methods, printing processes, and final artwork preparation.
* Experience producing graphics and layouts for proposals, technical reports, presentations, newsletters, brochures, and corporate documents.
* Ability to handle detailed, varied, and simultaneous design assignments while meeting schedule requirements.
* Strong attention to accuracy, formatting, visual clarity, and document quality.
* Ability to collaborate professionally with technical writers, editors, engineers, proposal teams, managers, and internal stakeholders.
* Positive approach to revisions, feedback, quality control, and time-sensitive document production.
