Position Overview
The Inspection Engineer – Right of Way will oversee inspection operations, policy development, and compliance across Dubai’s transport corridors. The role involves managing inspection teams, investigating complaints, conducting campaigns, and ensuring adherence to RTA’s regulations, directives, and standards.

What You’ll Do
* Plan and allocate inspection routes for inspectors based on field inspection plans.
* Prepare action plans for operations and recommend necessary changes.
* Develop communication methods between consultants, contractors, and RTA units regarding right of way issues and violations.
* Plan and implement annual inspection campaigns in coordination with internal and external departments.
* Review and analyze processes using KPIs to assess efficiency and propose improvements.
* Periodically review relevant legislation and provide recommendations to management.
* Supervise the preparation of agreements and MOUs with internal and external authorities.
* Investigate complaints from stakeholders and escalate findings with recommendations to management.
* Enforce RTA’s policies, directives, and regulations related to right of way inspections.
* Organize, distribute, and oversee daily work of inspection teams, ensuring professional standards are met.
* Participate in workshops with consultants and contractors on inspection matters.
* Develop and update inspection regulations and policies in coordination with relevant authorities.
* Initiate IT-driven solutions to improve inspection integration and efficiency.
* Conduct field visits to audit inspections, ensuring adherence to approved plans and quality standards.
* Ensure compliance with the Disciplinary Inspection Policy.
* Perform root cause analysis on recurring violations and provide recommendations for corrective action.
* Monitor section performance within RTA’s Maturity Model for Regulatory Inspections and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
* Minimum of 8 years’ experience in civil engineering, inspections, or regulatory roles.
* Strong understanding of inspection frameworks, right of way regulations, and compliance standards.
* Proven team management and stakeholder coordination skills.
* Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving and reporting abilities.
