Role Summary
The Inspector - Civil Engineering plays a key role in supervising on-site construction activities, ensuring all works meet approved drawings, project specifications, and regulatory requirements. This position supports safe execution, quality assurance, and timely project completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Review construction drawings, contract specifications, and safety requirements prior to execution
* Perform routine site inspections to confirm compliance with approved plans and standards
* Record daily site activities including manpower, equipment, materials, and testing results
* Coordinate with contractors and project teams to monitor progress and resolve site issues
* Prepare inspection reports and submit updates to Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer
* Implement site instructions and report non-compliance or technical issues promptly
* Assist with survey checks, measurements, and alignment verification for infrastructure works
* Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover processes ensuring complete documentation
* Ensure adherence to Dubai Municipality, RTA, DEWA, and other regulatory standards
* Promote strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental practices on site

* Extensive experience in civil engineering inspection for infrastructure or road projects
* Strong understanding of UAE construction regulations and quality standards
