Role Summary
The Inspector - Irrigation Quality ensures irrigation systems are constructed, tested, and commissioned according to approved specifications and project standards. This role supports sustainable landscape development by maintaining strict quality control and operational accuracy across irrigation networks.
Key Responsibilities
* Inspect installation of irrigation pipelines, valves, sprinklers, drip systems, and controllers ensuring compliance with approved drawings
* Verify routing, alignment, and levels of irrigation networks across project sites
* Monitor contractor activities and confirm execution follows approved method statements and specifications
* Review and validate materials such as pipes, pumps, fittings, and control systems before installation
* Attend inspection requests and witness testing procedures including pressure testing and flushing
* Identify non-compliance issues and coordinate corrective actions with project teams
* Maintain detailed inspection records, reports, and quality documentation
* Monitor daily progress of irrigation works and verify executed quantities where required
* Ensure compliance with authority standards, environmental regulations, and safety procedures
* Inspect installation of valve chambers, pumps, filters, and automated irrigation systems
* Oversee testing and commissioning of irrigation systems ensuring operational performance
* Coordinate with landscape teams and other utility inspectors to ensure seamless project integration
* Participate in snagging inspections and verify as-built documentation prior to handover
