Key Responsibilities
* Conduct surveys to identify the location of natural features, built structures, underground elements, and site conditions.
* Use electronic distance-measuring equipment, surveying instruments, and land-information systems to collect accurate field data.
* Analyze survey data, measurements, directions, angles, elevations, and legal records to support boundary line determination.
* Verify survey results and ensure data accuracy before preparing maps, drawings, plots, and technical reports.
* Operate land-information computer systems to store survey data, perform inquiries, and generate project outputs.
* Prepare comprehensive survey reports and mapping information for engineers, project managers, and stakeholders.
* Work independently on routine surveying assignments with minimal supervision.
* Support transportation, infrastructure, and construction project teams with reliable site measurements and field information.
* Maintain organized records of survey findings, calculations, field notes, and supporting documentation.
* Coordinate with project teams to ensure survey deliverables meet project requirements and agreed timelines.
* Apply professional surveying standards while working across varied site conditions.
* Support accurate project planning and construction execution through dependable measurement and reporting practices.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related construction field.
* Chartered RICS membership or working toward APC is preferred.
* Minimum 5 years of post-graduate experience in surveying, construction, infrastructure, or transportation projects.
* At least 2-3 years of experience in the Middle East is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of surveying instruments, electronic distance measurement, field data collection, and mapping processes.
* Ability to analyze survey data, legal records, elevations, angles, distances, and boundary information.
* Experience preparing survey reports, plots, maps, and technical documentation for project stakeholders.
* Comfortable working independently on routine survey tasks while maintaining accuracy and quality.
* Good understanding of construction site requirements, project documentation, and infrastructure delivery workflows.
* Detail-oriented approach with strong numerical, analytical, and documentation skills.
