Land Surveyor - Sewage Treatment Plant Projects Dubai UAE
Role Summary
AECOM is hiring an experienced Land Surveyor to join its supervision team for Dubai Municipality Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) projects. The role focuses on performing precise surveying tasks to ensure alignment with design specifications, maintaining compliance with municipal standards, and supporting successful project delivery.

What You’ll Do
* Conduct detailed site surveys and stakeouts for STP-related structures, including tanks, buildings, and utilities
* Verify contractor-provided setting-out points to ensure compliance with IFC drawings and benchmarks
* Perform topographic, boundary, utility, and as-built surveys using GPS, total stations, and data collectors
* Prepare survey reports, CAD drawings, and documentation for submission to Dubai Municipality
* Maintain accurate measurements, elevations, and coordinates for project records
* Research and confirm legal records and survey data relevant to STP sites
* Ensure utility protection and document survey references during construction activities
* Monitor site progress to confirm alignment with approved designs and DM regulations
* Support Resident Engineer in resolving discrepancies in layouts or site conditions
* Follow all DM requirements for documentation, control benchmarks, and approvals
Ideal Profile
* Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or Surveying
* Minimum 7+ years (degree holders) or 10+ years (diploma holders) of experience in land surveying for infrastructure projects
* Direct experience in STP projects and strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality procedures
* Skilled in using modern surveying instruments, CAD tools, and data processing software
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and reporting skills
