Key Responsibilities
* Review landscape and irrigation design submissions, shop drawings, material submittals, technical proposals, and contractor documentation against contract requirements.
* Coordinate with clients, designers, contractors, and site teams to resolve field issues related to hard landscaping, soft landscaping, planting, and irrigation works.
* Carry out site inspections to confirm that landscape and irrigation activities are completed in line with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and authority requirements.
* Assess contractor and subcontractor prequalification submissions and provide professional recommendations to the client.
* Support proposal development by understanding client requirements and coordinating technical input with design teams.
* Inspect and approve plant and tree selections from external sources before delivery to project sites.
* Apply practical knowledge of regional plant species, soil conditions, irrigation methods, and plantation requirements suitable for UAE landscape projects.
* Review irrigation standards, system layouts, water distribution requirements, and installation methods for different types of plantation areas.
* Provide field engineering support using basic engineering principles, construction supervision practices, and project documentation procedures.
* Offer technical guidance to craft personnel when required and support smooth coordination across site activities.
* Ensure project works follow international standards, local authority regulations, statutory requirements, and Parsons project procedures.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
* Minimum 10 years of experience in landscape and irrigation design review, construction supervision, and field engineering.
* Previous UAE experience is highly preferred, especially on large-scale infrastructure, urban development, public realm, or mixed-use projects.
* Strong understanding of hardscape works, softscape installation, irrigation networks, planting specifications, and landscape construction sequencing.
* Ability to review technical submittals, contractor documents, shop drawings, and material proposals with accuracy.
* Good knowledge of local authority standards, statutory requirements, and regional landscape engineering practices.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and site teams.
* Practical problem-solving ability for resolving site issues while maintaining quality, safety, and project progress.
