Role Context
The Landscape Inspector supports operation and maintenance activities by monitoring site conditions, verifying workmanship, and ensuring compliance with approved landscaping plans. The role plays a key part in maintaining sustainable and high-quality public realm environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Inspect softscape and hardscape works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications
* Maintain daily site records including activities, workforce, equipment, and approvals
* Coordinate with contractor teams to ensure proper execution of landscaping works
* Interface with residents and stakeholders to minimize disruption during operations
* Arrange testing and quality checks for materials and completed works
* Report non-compliance, poor workmanship, or unsafe practices to the Resident Engineer
* Maintain records for measurements, completed works, and as-built documentation
* Monitor contractor activities and document potential claims or variations
* Enforce safety requirements in line with approved project safety plans
* Report incidents, delays, or operational issues promptly
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Landscape, Agriculture Engineering, or related field
* Minimum 4 years of experience in landscaping or irrigation within O and M projects
* Strong ability to read drawings and enforce technical specifications
* Experience working on Abu Dhabi Municipality projects preferred
* Good communication and coordination skills with site teams and stakeholders
* Ability to handle site inspections independently
