Role Context
The Material Inspector supports construction supervision teams by validating materials, monitoring testing procedures, and ensuring compliance across all site activities. This role plays a key part in maintaining quality standards and supporting timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Review material inspection requests and conduct on-site verification before approval
* Perform testing activities including soil compaction, concrete slump, and compression checks
* Inspect delivered materials to confirm quantity and compliance with specifications
* Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and documentation logs
* Monitor workmanship standards across civil and structural activities
* Coordinate with contractors and engineers to resolve quality-related issues
* Verify alignment, grading, and installation accuracy during site inspections
* Ensure project quality procedures are followed and highlight improvement areas
* Track site progress and communicate findings with project teams
* Support project completion by ensuring documentation and compliance readiness
Ideal Profile
* Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
* Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure or construction inspection roles
* Strong knowledge of material testing standards and QA QC procedures
* Familiarity with inspection tools and reporting systems
* UAE project experience is an advantage
* Ability to work independently on site with strong attention to detail
* Good communication skills for coordination with site teams
