The NOC Coordinator will assist project and design teams in securing approvals and No Objection Certificates from government entities, utility providers, and service authorities across the UAE. The role requires regular coordination, documentation tracking, schedule monitoring, meeting participation, and follow-up with internal and external stakeholders.
This position is important for reducing approval delays, keeping project documentation aligned with authority requirements, and ensuring that NOC-related activities progress within required timeframes. Key Responsibilities
* Liaise with government agencies, authorities, service providers, and client teams to support required approvals and No Objection Certificates.
* Attend project kick-off meetings, coordination meetings, and design review sessions to provide NOC process support.
* Monitor progress of drawings, documents, forms, and technical information required for NOC submissions.
* Check that submission documents are accurate, complete, and aligned with authority requirements before processing.
* Support project teams in obtaining approvals within agreed timelines.
* Coordinate with internal and external clients to address technical queries and resolve NOC-related issues.
* Liaise with government entities and service authorities in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
* Track utility NOC status and follow up regularly to ensure timely completion.
* Review project schedules to identify possible delays or deviations related to authority approvals.
* Recommend corrective actions when NOC progress may affect project timelines.
* Participate in design coordination meetings and suggest improvements to approval tracking or submission workflows.
* Collect and consolidate information from agencies, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
* Prepare weekly and monthly NOC progress reports for management and client review.
* Support preparation of design documentation, authority submission records, and approval status trackers.
* Attend project meetings, provide updates on NOC progress, and follow up on pending actions.
* Carry out related coordination and documentation tasks required to support successful project delivery.
Ideal Profile
* Diploma or degree in Engineering from a recognized university.
* Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering background is preferred.
* Internship experience in an engineering environment will be an advantage.
