Key Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management Plan to support consistent quality control across construction and engineering activities.
* Review project specifications, contractual requirements, quality procedures, method statements, and Inspection and Test Plans.
* Conduct inspections and testing checks on materials, equipment, workmanship, and construction or installation activities.
* Coordinate with contractors, consultants, engineers, and project teams to resolve quality-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
* Monitor non-conformance reports and follow up on corrective and preventive actions until closure.
* Maintain accurate QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, audit records, checklists, and quality logs.
* Perform internal audits and support external audits to verify compliance with project and international quality standards.
* Ensure measuring and testing equipment is properly calibrated, controlled, and suitable for site use.
* Identify recurring quality concerns and support continuous improvement initiatives across project operations.
* Promote safe, compliant, and quality-focused work practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Ideal Profile
* Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience within construction, infrastructure, or engineering project environments.
* Strong background in quality assurance and quality control practices for civil engineering and transportation-related projects.
* Practical knowledge of ISO 9001, inspection procedures, testing requirements, audits, NCR management, and quality documentation.
* Ability to review technical documents, identify quality gaps, and coordinate solutions with multiple project stakeholders.
* Strong communication skills with the confidence to work closely with contractors, consultants, and internal project teams.
* Detail-focused approach with strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving abilities.
* Experience in large-scale infrastructure, transportation, or site-based construction projects will be an advantage.
