Position Overview
As a QA/QC Engineer for Rail and Metro projects, you will lead quality planning, audit execution, and process compliance across multiple construction zones. Your responsibilities include reviewing contractor QA/QC systems, managing NCRs, conducting quality audits, and driving corrective actions
in compliance with ISO 9001. You will collaborate with internal teams and site personnel to ensure rigorous adherence to quality benchmarks and client requirements.
Core Duties
* Develop and manage Quality Audit Plans in line with project KPIs and quality objectives
* Conduct internal and external audits on QA/QC systems, site operations, and documentation
* Register non-conformities, initiate corrective actions, and ensure timely closure of CARs and IARs
* Audit contractor QA/QC activities and ensure alignment with employer specifications and standards
* Participate in prequalification evaluations and facility inspections
* Perform random site inspections and report deviations or risks to quality deliverables
* Provide quality training to QA/QC staff across multiple sites and ensure strategy compliance
* Contribute to the development and revision of project-specific procedures and documents
* Support the QA/QC Manager with reporting, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Ensure project adherence to ISO 9001:2015 and contribute to audit readiness and system upgrades
Candidate Requirements
* Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering
* Minimum 10 years of experience in QA/QC roles, with strong exposure to metro or railway projects
* ISO 9001:2015 Certified Internal and External Auditor
* In-depth knowledge of quality control processes, construction documentation, and project audits
* Proficient in quality management tools and MS Office; ability to generate reports and presentations
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead audits and enforce compliance diplomatically
* Familiarity with contractual frameworks and JV project environments preferred
