Job Overview
Parsons is hiring an experienced **Resident Engineer - Landscape and Irrigation** for major public realm and infrastructure projects in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This high-responsibility role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in irrigation systems, landscape supervision, and project coordination. You will lead field engineering teams, ensure quality control, and manage scope, budgets, and compliance with local regulations in some of Dubai’s most ambitious landscape developments.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead the supervision of landscape and irrigation works ensuring compliance with technical designs and project standards
* Develop and track engineering scope, budgets, timelines, and changes in project deliverables
* Monitor productivity, quality, and performance of assigned technical staff
* Review and approve procurement scopes, vendor coordination, and subcontractor alignment
* Act as deputy to the Project Manager for meetings, updates, and contractual correspondence
* Prepare and review technical reports, client communications, and change orders
* Provide leadership in evaluating design documents, technical specs, and project variations
* Mentor junior engineers and coordinate interdisciplinary teams for successful delivery
* Maintain project documentation, site inspections, and issue resolution for on-time completion
* Ensure that safety, sustainability, and efficiency goals are met across all project phases
Job Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Agricultural Engineering from a recognized institution
* Minimum 10 years of professional experience in landscape and irrigation supervision in the UAE or GCC
* In-depth knowledge of landscaping techniques, pressurized irrigation systems, soil specs, and water conservation methods
* Experience in budget tracking, scope management, and team leadership on large public infrastructure or municipal works
* Proficient in CAD tools, Microsoft Office, and project management platforms
* Excellent communication skills and a track record of successfully coordinating with clients and consultants
* Prior experience in government-led landscape projects in Dubai is highly preferred
