Parsons Corporation is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to deliver ground engineering solutions for infrastructure and development projects across Dubai, the UAE, and the Gulf region. The role involves planning and designing earthworks, foundations, and geotechnical systems for bridges, railroads, airports, tunnels, pipelines, dams, harbours, and other infrastructure. The engineer will also provide technical guidance, client coordination, and approvals to ensure geotechnical reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

What You’ll Do
* Lead the planning and design of geotechnical systems including foundations, earthworks, soil-structure interaction, and retaining structures
* Deliver multiple geotechnical projects in parallel, reporting to technical leadership within Parsons’ regional team
*
Prepare geotechnical engineering analyses, reports, drawings, and specifications using CAE/CAD software
* Develop and review scopes and specifications for ground investigations, evaluate quotations, and manage technical bids
* Provide technical input for procurement documents, material quality takeoffs, and design packages
* Supervise and mentor junior engineers, CAD designers, and drafters on geotechnical tasks
* Conduct reviews of supplier reports, drawings, and data submissions for technical compliance
* Liaise with clients, authorities, and stakeholders to present geotechnical proposals and secure approvals
* Ensure adherence to safety, codes, and regulatory standards in all geotechnical works
* Prepare estimates, surveys, and engineering computations for infrastructure projects
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (Master’s degree preferred)
* Minimum 8 years of experience in geotechnical design and engineering, including at least 2 years in the UAE
* Proven experience in soil-structure interaction analysis, foundation engineering, and ground investigation planning
* Proficiency in geotechnical analysis software and CAD tools
* Strong project management, multitasking, and teamwork skills
* Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Desired Skills
* Professional Engineer, Chartered Engineer, or equivalent certification
* Knowledge of ground investigation scope development, execution, and interpretation
* Experience in the design of geotechnical solutions for complex infrastructure such as tunnels, dams, or airports
