Position Overview
Parsons is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to provide technical expertise and lead geotechnical engineering activities for a major Rail Transit project delivered within a Program Management and Construction Management environment. The role will support the Design Management Group through geotechnical design reviews, engineering analysis, consultant coordination, and technical oversight of complex ground engineering solutions.
The Senior Geotechnical Engineer will lead geotechnical engineers while coordinating with Design Consultants and PM-CM engineering teams on tunnels, deep excavations, diaphragm walls, foundations, retaining systems, and other major civil infrastructure. The position requires extensive experience in geotechnical investigation, interpretation, design review, and technical leadership on large-scale infrastructure projects.

Geotechnical Engineering Leadership
- Lead a team of Geotechnical Engineers supporting the Rail Transit project.
- Coordinate technical activities with Design Consultant personnel and PM-CM engineering teams.
- Provide technical direction for complex geotechnical engineering solutions.

- Review subsurface investigation requirements at project sites.
- Provide technical recommendations and direction for geotechnical investigations.
- Conduct and review field exploration activities and assessments.
- Review sampling activities and soil classification information.
