This role focuses on detailed design review, coordination, and compliance for building infrastructure projects, and is ideal for engineers with strong UAE-based experience in architectural and structural systems.

Role Summary
As a Senior Project Engineer specializing in civil and structural works, you will be responsible for overseeing the review and coordination of building layouts, structural elements, utilities, and architectural details. Based in Abu Dhabi, you’ll ensure all design outputs comply with UAE authorities\' requirements and project standards, while collaborating closely with multi-disciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Review architectural and structural layouts for concrete and steel buildings, substations, and utility structures
* Evaluate civil design elements including compound walls, fences, gates, and pump station details
* Assess topographical surveys, grading plans, and civil specifications for completeness and accuracy
* Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure fully integrated and clash-free designs
* Ensure compliance with local authority requirements and technical standards
* Review civil design basis reports, specifications, and standard detail sheets
* Liaise with design consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities during all project stages
* Support internal QA/QC and document review processes
* Participate in resolving design-related issues raised during project execution
* Provide engineering guidance to junior staff when required
Candidate Requirements
* Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
* Minimum 12 years of civil/structural experience on building infrastructure projects
* At least 5 years of recent work experience in the UAE
* Familiarity with UAE authority regulations, building codes, and approval processes
* Proven ability to coordinate with consultants, contractors, and clients
* Excellent command of English (verbal and written)
* Strong understanding of safety principles and regulatory compliance
