Key Responsibilities
* Lead cost management services across pre-contract estimating, procurement strategy, contract administration, cost reporting, and final account resolution.
* Provide strategic cost, value, and risk advice to clients, design teams, and internal stakeholders during each project stage.
* Manage project budgets, financial performance, cost forecasts, and variance analysis to support strong commercial control.
* Identify cost risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost optimization strategies for infrastructure and commercial projects.
* Prepare accurate cost plans, estimates, tender documentation, and measurement outputs using advanced digital tools.
* Monitor project financial performance and recommend corrective actions to maintain cost efficiency and project profitability.
* Serve as the main interface for cost management matters with clients, stakeholders, consultants, and project teams.
* Maintain strong professional relationships with clients and delivery partners through clear communication and reliable reporting.
* Ensure all cost management deliverables are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards.
* Lead, mentor, and support project surveyors, graduates, and apprentices to strengthen team capability.
* Manage multiple projects at the same time while maintaining accuracy, organization, and professional judgment.
* Support transparent reporting, accountability, and commercial governance throughout project delivery.
* Keep updated on UAE construction standards, regulations, market practices, and cost management best practices.
* Contribute to continuous improvement in cost planning, contract administration, and project commercial processes.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, or a related discipline.
* Professional qualification and chartered status with RICS, CIOB, or an equivalent recognized institution.
* Minimum 8+ years of progressive cost management experience within a consulting environment.
* Strong experience across pre-contract, contract administration, and post-contract cost management phases.
* Proven ability to manage cost plans, procurement support, tender documentation, cost reports, and final accounts.
* Strong understanding of UAE construction standards, project delivery practices, and commercial controls.
* Ability to advise clients and design teams on risk, value, cost planning, and project financial performance.
* Experience working on complex infrastructure, commercial, or large-scale development projects.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide junior surveyors and support professional development.
* Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
* Confident using digital measurement, cost planning, tendering, and project reporting tools.
* Able to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain high-quality outputs across multiple assignments.
