Parsons is hiring a Site Civil Engineer - Trenchless Networks in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for the construction supervision of specialist Civil Engineering works. The position will oversee stormwater networks and underground installations delivered through microtunnelling, pipe jacking, and related trenchless methods.

Role Context
The engineer will maintain a visible site presence and help translate approved designs into compliant construction. Working under the direction of the Resident Engineer
and Assistant Resident Engineer, the position will track contractor activities, examine technical submissions, coordinate inspection coverage, and escalate issues affecting quality, safety, or progress.
Key Responsibilities
* Follow the daily execution of stormwater and trenchless network works at the construction site.
* Check that the contractor follows approved drawings, specifications, contract documents, and current authority regulations.
* Examine shop drawings, proposed materials, requests for information, and other contractor submissions.
* Provide timely site direction and clarification within the engineer\'s delegated responsibilities.
* Assist with coordinating inspectors and confirming that required inspections are completed.
* Verify quantities and measurements for work performed on site.
* Monitor construction resources to determine whether manpower and equipment are adequate for planned activities.
* Observe microtunnelling shafts, pipe-jacking operations, alignment controls, and associated underground works.
* Record site concerns and communicate them clearly to the Resident Engineer and Assistant Resident Engineer.
* Participate actively in project health and safety matters alongside the designated safety representative.
* Identify unsafe practices and support the implementation of appropriate corrective measures.
* Review as-built information, testing records, completion files, and other project closeout documents.
* Carry out further site engineering responsibilities necessary for coordinated project completion.
Ideal Profile
A bachelor\'s degree in civil engineering is mandatory, together with at least eight years of relevant infrastructure experience. Candidates must have practical construction supervision experience involving microtunnelling, pipe jacking, or another recognized trenchless technology.
Previous work on Dubai infrastructure projects is preferred, particularly where coordination with local authorities formed part of the assignment. Experience within fast-track project environments will be beneficial.
The role requires confidence in using common engineering software and preparing clear site records. Applicants should also be able to communicate technical instructions and construction concerns effectively with management, contractors, and inspection teams.
