Role Summary
The Surveyor - Highway Projects is responsible for conducting accurate field surveys, establishing control points, and ensuring construction works are executed in alignment with approved designs. This role plays a critical part in maintaining project accuracy, reducing rework, and supporting timely infrastructure delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform surveying activities under guidance of senior survey leadership for highway and infrastructure projects
* Establish horizontal and vertical control points with proper reference ties for field re-establishment
* Record measurements, calculations, and observations accurately in field documentation
* Coordinate with contractor survey teams to align work schedules and priorities
* Verify survey accuracy through traverse closures and benchmark checks
* Report discrepancies, site issues, or technical concerns to engineering supervisors
* Conduct joint measurements for completed works and progress verification
* Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment to ensure measurement accuracy
* Support layout and setting out for road alignments, interchanges, and intersections
* Ensure compliance with project specifications and authority standards
Ideal Profile
* Strong experience in surveying for roads, highways, and infrastructure projects
* Familiarity with Dubai road networks and authority requirements such as RTA and Dubai Municipality
* Experience in interchange and intersection construction projects
* Ability to operate modern survey equipment and software
* Strong attention to detail with accurate measurement and reporting skills
* Ability to work effectively in dynamic site environments
