Key Responsibilities
* Monitor cybersecurity alerts and escalate suspicious events according to established procedures.
* Assist with the initial investigation, documentation, and containment of security incidents.
* Support vulnerability scanning, finding validation, remediation tracking, and closure reporting.
* Participate in user-access reviews and help identify excessive, outdated, or conflicting permissions.
* Contribute to security assessments covering systems, applications, infrastructure, and data.
* Collect records and control evidence required for internal audits, external reviews, and compliance checks.
* Help draft, update, and maintain information-security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
* Prepare security reports, registers, assessment results, and incident documentation.
* Coordinate with technology teams to follow up on identified risks and corrective actions.
* Support cybersecurity awareness campaigns, employee communications, and educational activities.
* Assist in evaluating whether security controls operate consistently with approved requirements.
* Work with business teams to encourage secure handling of systems, applications, and sensitive information.
* Research current cyber threats, attack methods, defensive practices, and security technologies.
* Maintain confidentiality and follow established incident, risk, and escalation protocols.
Ideal Profile
Applicants should hold a bachelor\'s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related subject. Previous exposure gained through an internship, graduate programme, or junior technology role is preferred but not mandatory.
The position suits an analytical graduate with a basic understanding of security operations, cyber risk, vulnerability management, access control, and common security technologies. Security+, ISO 27001 Foundation, SC-900, or an equivalent certification would be advantageous.
