Position Overview
The Assistant Cost Manager role at Mace Dubai supports the delivery of a major multi-year aviation development project covering earthworks, infrastructure, sub-structure, and long-term airport expansion. The role contributes to cost planning, procurement, and commercial control activities across the full project lifecycle while supporting value, sustainability, and stakeholder outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
* Support delivery of cost management services across all project lifecycle stages and sectors
* Assist with feasibility studies, procurement strategies, and contract selection with clear reporting
* Apply value management techniques during early planning and design stages
* Support estimating and cost planning activities to develop final cost plans
* Participate in procurement processes including tender analysis, evaluation, and contract preparation
* Prepare contract documentation and support management of variations in line with contract terms
* Assist with cost control, financial reporting, and monthly commercial reviews
* Collaborate with cost consultants and project teams to maintain cost certainty
* Support mentoring of junior team members and contribute to net zero carbon initiatives
* Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors
Ideal Profile
* Degree in quantity surveying, cost management, or equivalent qualification
* Professional membership such as MRICS or working toward an equivalent
* Essential experience working in the Middle East on infrastructure or aviation projects
* Understanding of procurement strategies, cost planning, and contract administration
* Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills
* Commitment to safety, integrity, and continuous professional development
