Position Overview
Mace is seeking an Associate Director – Project Controls to lead the implementation of PMO and project controls frameworks on one of the largest mixed-use programmes in Saudi Arabia. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring effective governance, risk management, and performance oversight while fostering innovation and delivering strategic outcomes.

What You’ll Do
* Drive the design and delivery of PMO and project controls frameworks across major projects and programmes.
* Serve as the subject matter expert on PMO practices, governance, and integrated controls.
* Lead cost, schedule, risk, change, and reporting functions to meet strategic project objectives.
* Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment.
* Manage structured reporting cycles, governance reviews, and baseline development.
* Implement quantitative risk analysis and performance metrics for project success.
* Ensure compliance with internal processes, client requirements, and legal obligations.
* Provide mentorship, leadership, and line management to PMO professionals within the project team.
* Support knowledge transfer, recruitment, and capacity building for the wider PMO function.
* Promote sustainability initiatives and contribute to achieving net-zero carbon goals within project delivery.
Ideal Profile
* Chartered membership (or equivalent) with a recognized professional body.
* Proven experience delivering PMO and project controls services on major programmes.
* Strong track record across the full project lifecycle, from planning to close-out.
* Middle East experience with eligibility to meet Saudi visa and client approval criteria.
* Advanced expertise in governance frameworks, cost and schedule controls, and risk management.
* Experience in leading large multidisciplinary teams and fostering innovation.
