Role Context
The BIM Modeler will form an important technical link between Azizi
Developments\' design, engineering, factory production, and project delivery teams. Working within the Interior Factory environment, the position translates architectural and fit-out concepts into precise digital models and production documentation for modular PODs and interior components. Accurate coordination at BIM stage will help reduce clashes, improve material planning, support off-site manufacturing, and minimize installation issues on active developments.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, update, and manage detailed Autodesk Revit models for modular PODs, interior fit-out packages, and associated components.
* Produce coordinated shop drawings, fabrication drawings, construction details, schedules, and documentation suitable for factory production and site execution.
* Model interior architectural elements including partitions, walls, ceilings, flooring systems, doors, joinery, sanitary fixtures, and related finishes.
* Coordinate architectural BIM information with structural and MEP models to achieve practical integration across disciplines.
* Review model interfaces and identify clashes, dimensional conflicts, design discrepancies, and constructability concerns before production.
* Use coordinated BIM information to support efficient prefabrication and modular manufacturing workflows.
* Incorporate approved design changes and revisions while maintaining model accuracy and current project information.
* Work directly with architects, interior designers, engineers, production specialists, and site teams to resolve technical coordination matters.
* Prepare information required for quantity take-offs, material schedules, component planning, and BIM documentation.
* Translate design intent into practical information that factory teams can use for off-site manufacturing.
* Provide clear drawings and model data to support accurate assembly and installation of completed components on site.
* Check drawing packages and model outputs before issue, ensuring they meet project specifications, production requirements, and established deadlines.
* Interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to maintain coordinated and buildable fit-out solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
Ideal Profile
A Diploma or Bachelor\'s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a closely related discipline is required, supported by at least 3 years of practical BIM and Revit modeling experience.
Candidates with direct exposure to interior fit-out, modular construction, prefabrication, or POD manufacturing will be particularly relevant. Strong BIM experience gained on villas, residential developments, hotels, or other hospitality fit-out projects will also be considered.
The successful candidate should understand fit-out detailing, shop drawing preparation, construction methodology, material coordination, and multidisciplinary drawing interpretation. The position requires someone capable of producing technically accurate information that can move reliably from a digital model into factory production and physical installation.
