Position Overview
We are seeking a Category Manager – PMV (Plant, Machinery and Vehicles) to join Azizi Developments in Dubai, leading strategic sourcing, procurement, and lifecycle management of heavy equipment and vehicle assets across our construction and factory operations. This role will manage a diverse portfolio including excavators, cranes, concrete pumps, forklifts, generators, and light vehicles, ensuring availability, serviceability, and cost control to support some of Dubai’s most ambitious developments. The ideal candidate will have extensive UAE market knowledge, strong negotiation skills, and proven experience in large-scale equipment procurement and fleet management.

What You’ll Do
* Lead end-to-end procurement for all PMV categories, including equipment, spare parts, rentals, and services.
* Develop and execute category strategies to ensure timely equipment availability for projects.
* Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, negotiating contracts to maximize value and performance.
* Conduct market analysis, benchmarking, and cost modeling to identify savings opportunities.
* Oversee fleet planning, utilization, and lifecycle cost optimization.
* Coordinate closely with workshop, plant, and logistics teams to align procurement with operational needs.
* Stay updated on PMV technologies, suppliers, and regulatory requirements.
* Manage vendor evaluations, equipment inspections, and technical compliance checks.
* Ensure all procurement actions meet HSE standards, UAE regulations, and company policies.
* Prepare category reports, dashboards, and forecasts for senior leadership.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, or related technical discipline.
* 10–15 years of experience in PMV procurement or fleet management within construction or manufacturing sectors.
* Proven track record in heavy equipment procurement and rental agreements in the UAE.
* Strong understanding of machinery specifications, fleet maintenance, and asset lifecycle management.
* Proficient in procurement systems such as SAP or Oracle, with advanced MS Excel and reporting skills.
* Skilled in contract management, cost control, and risk mitigation.
* Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, and O&M manuals.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
