This role drives procurement and commercial performance across complex capital projects. It ensures that sourcing strategies, contract evaluations, and supplier engagements align with project objectives while maintaining governance, transparency, and cost control. The position plays a key part in managing risks, optimizing procurement cycles, and supporting overall project success.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project delivery goals
* Manage full tender lifecycle including EOI, prequalification, and RFP processes
* Prepare tender documentation and coordinate tender issuance and clarifications
* Evaluate submissions covering technical, commercial, and financial aspects
* Produce tender recommendation reports to support contract awards
* Conduct market analysis to identify suppliers and strengthen supply chain capability
* Build strong relationships with contractors and suppliers for long-term collaboration
* Assess contract terms and pricing to ensure cost efficiency and compliance
* Ensure procurement processes meet corporate policies and industry standards
* Lead reporting activities, highlighting risks, issues, and mitigation strategies
* Mentor procurement teams and support capability development
Ideal Profile
* Minimum 10+ years of procurement and commercial management experience
* Strong background in infrastructure or major capital project environments
* Experience handling full procurement lifecycle from planning to contract award
* Deep understanding of contract conditions, pricing strategies, and supplier evaluation
* Ability to work in complex organizational structures and manage multiple stakeholders
* Strong communication and leadership capabilities
