Role Summary
Dicetek LLC is looking for a skilled Defects Liability Engineer to join a client project in Dubai. This role is focused on managing the Defects Liability Period (DLP) for post-construction projects, ensuring all raised tickets—related to civil, MEP, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and joinery issues—are resolved promptly and within SLA. The role demands close coordination with contractors and project teams to uphold quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

What You’ll Do
* Track and manage all defect liability tickets for civil, MEP, HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and joinery works
* Coordinate with contractors to ensure timely and effective rectification of issues
* Conduct site inspections to confirm work has been completed to standards
* Ensure all rectifications comply with safety and quality guidelines
* Prevent SLA breaches by proactively following up on pending tickets
* Escalate unresolved or recurring issues to appropriate stakeholders
* Keep residents, clients, or end-users updated on progress and closure status
* Prepare and submit regular reports summarizing open, closed, and overdue issues, resolution timelines, and SLA performance
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
* Experience in site inspections, defect resolution, and post-handover construction workflows
* Familiarity with contractor coordination and ticketing systems
* Strong reporting and communication skills to manage stakeholders and provide updates
* Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail in high-pressure environments
* Understanding of construction materials and systems across multiple trades (civil, mechanical, electrical)
