Mace is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead design coordination and delivery for a major luxury mixed-use development in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves managing multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring compliance with project standards, and driving sustainable design solutions that align with client goals and net-zero objectives.

What You’ll Do
* Deliver assigned design elements within time and budget constraints as per the business plan.
* Lead and manage design teams, ensuring operational efficiency and design quality across multiple projects.
* Act as the primary point of contact for all design-related matters, liaising with clients and stakeholders.
* Present KPIs, progress reports, and performance data to senior leadership.
* Identify opportunities to enhance delivery plans and streamline design processes.
* Advise on procurement strategies, contractual obligations, and compliance requirements.
* Promote technical excellence, design innovation, and cross-functional collaboration.
* Support business development initiatives and contribute to training programs for design teams.
* Integrate carbon-conscious strategies into design delivery, supporting sustainability and net-zero goals.
Ideal Profile
* Degree in architecture, engineering, or related field.
* Proven design management experience on large-scale, complex projects.
* Strong understanding of procurement, contract management, and design governance.
* Experience in stakeholder engagement and managing multi-disciplinary teams.
* Middle East experience with eligibility to meet Saudi Arabia visa and client approval requirements.
