Role Context
The Design Manager will support the Planning and Design Management function by controlling the flow
and coordination of multidisciplinary design information across assigned projects, packages, or asset scopes. The role will work closely with senior design leadership to ensure consultants and technical teams deliver coordinated, complete, and review-ready design outputs at each project stage.
A central responsibility will be maintaining visibility over interfaces, design actions, approval dependencies, technical risks, and unresolved issues. Key Responsibilities

* Support senior management and the Senior Design Manager with daily design delivery activities.
* Coordinate consultant teams to maintain alignment between technical disciplines and project requirements.
* Review consultant submissions before formal approval for quality, completeness, consistency, and coordination.
* Verify design deliverables against approved briefs, standards, scope requirements, and project objectives.
* Monitor design development through concept, intermediate, detailed, and relevant stage-gate milestones.
* Track consultant performance against scheduled submission and review dates.
* Maintain awareness of design activities that may affect procurement, construction, or project delivery.
