Designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems for telecom tower infrastructure.
Job Description & Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the project team to design electrical systems for telecom tower projects, including power distribution, grounding, lightning protection, backup power systems, and cabling infrastructure.
Perform system analysis and calculations to ensure electrical design compliance with industry standards, regulations, and project requirements.
Create and maintain accurate technical documentation, including electrical schematics, drawings, specifications, and equipment lists.
Provide technical support to Project Managers and field teams during the installation, commissioning, and maintenance phases of the telecom tower projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including civil engineers, structural engineers, and telecommunications experts, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into the overall tower design.
Conduct regular quality checks and inspections to ensure that electrical designs are implemented accurately and meet performance criteria.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in electrical design for telecom tower projects. Contribute innovative ideas to improve the efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of electrical systems.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment and minimize risks associated with electrical systems.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, electrical system design, power distribution, grounding, lightning protection, and cable management.
Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD) and familiarity with industry standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
Ability to analyze complex electrical systems, perform calculations and interpret technical data accurately.
A meticulous approach to work with a strong focus on accuracy and precision in electrical design.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment, adapt to changing priorities, and contribute to the overall success of the project.
