We are seeking a skilled and experienced Foreman to join our team in the Fit Out industry in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations at construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. The Foreman will play a key role in coordinating and supervising the activities of construction workers and subcontractors, while also serving as a liaison between management and the onsite team.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise the activities of construction workers and subcontractors at the job site.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Oversee the scheduling and coordination of construction activities and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Monitor and track project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the onsite team, including training, coaching, and performance management.
- Maintain regular communication with management, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any concerns or issues.
- Manage and maintain construction equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the construction or fit out industry.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and results-driven approach.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards in the construction industry.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications and licenses may be required, depending on local regulations and project requirements.
