GIS Manager – Dubai, UAE
Position Overview
GIS Manager – Dubai, UAE will be responsible for leading the development, integration, and management of Geographic Information Systems across the company. The role focuses on leveraging GIS technology for urban planning, infrastructure, traffic analysis, and asset management, while ensuring alignment with 3D modeling, BIM, and building management systems.

What You’ll Do
* Lead the design, development, and deployment of the GIS platform and ensure data accuracy
* Automate GIS workflows using Python or similar programming tools
* Integrate GIS with BIM, 3D software, and building management systems for asset lifecycle management
* Provide spatial analysis for zoning, land use, urban mobility, and site selection
* Support transportation planning with GIS-based traffic modeling and route optimization
* Create dashboards and reports to visualize infrastructure and project performance
* Establish governance policies and data standards for GIS systems
* Define GIS strategy aligned with corporate urban development goals
* Lead and mentor GIS, IT, and engineering teams while coordinating with authorities and consultants
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s preferred)
* At least 10 years of experience in GIS, civil engineering, or utility infrastructure projects
* Proven expertise in implementing GIS for large-scale urban or infrastructure programs in the Middle East
* Strong knowledge of ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms
* Proficiency in Python scripting and automation
* Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D for GIS integration
* Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills
* Ability to design and deliver GIS workflows for engineering, planning, and asset management
