Mechanical Inspection Responsibilities
The Inspector - Mechanical will provide systematic inspection coverage throughout the construction lifecycle, helping maintain mechanical installation quality and safety. The position requires accurate reporting, organized record keeping, and
clear communication of defects, non-conformances, and corrective requirements.
* Conduct mechanical inspections on building construction projects, covering HVAC systems, plumbing installations, mechanical components, and related systems.
* Verify mechanical works against approved drawings, specifications, applicable building codes, and UAE regulatory requirements.
* Analyze inspection findings to identify defects, non-conformances, and deviations from project requirements.
* Prepare detailed inspection reports supported by photographic evidence, findings, and recommendations.
* Communicate inspection findings clearly to project managers, contractors, and relevant stakeholders.
* Coordinate with construction teams to support timely correction of identified issues and conduct re-inspections of remedial works.
* Maintain organized inspection records, logs, and digital project documentation using construction management software.
* Perform quality assurance checks to verify that mechanical systems function properly and safely before project handover.
* Maintain awareness of relevant building codes, mechanical standards, and industry practices applicable to construction activities in the UAE.
* Collaborate with other inspectors and project teams to maintain consistent quality standards across project activities.
* Identify opportunities to improve inspection processes, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Qualifications and Experience
* Diploma or Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

* Strong attention to detail and the ability to assess construction work systematically.
* Ability to document and communicate inspection findings accurately.
