Position Overview
Parsons is seeking an experienced Landscape Inspector to join its construction supervision team in Dubai, UAE. The role will inspect landscape and irrigation works to verify compliance with approved designs, specifications, applicable regulations, and environmental requirements. The Landscape Inspector will monitor grading, planting, irrigation, materials, workmanship, and other landscape elements while maintaining accurate inspection records and coordinating with contractors, landscape architects, project managers, and other inspection disciplines.

What You\'ll Be Doing
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify that landscape construction progresses in accordance with approved plans and specifications.
- Inspect grading,
planting, irrigation, and associated landscape elements for correct installation and design compliance.
- Monitor landscape installations against applicable local codes, zoning requirements, and environmental regulations.
- Verify compliance with relevant accessibility and safety requirements.
- Review landscape plans, drawings, and specifications to understand construction and inspection requirements.
- Verify that required permits and approvals are in place before applicable construction activities begin.
- Inspect the quality of materials incorporated into landscape works.
- Identify deviations from approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate identified issues with contractors, landscape architects, project managers, and other inspectors.
- Support effective coordination between landscape activities and other construction disciplines.
- Maintain detailed records of site inspections, observations, photographs, reports, and identified non-compliance matters.
- Monitor corrective work where deviations or quality issues have been identified.
- Keep informed of relevant changes in landscape design standards, construction techniques, and applicable regulations.
Landscape and Irrigation Inspection
The Landscape Inspector will provide site-based supervision of landscape and irrigation activities throughout construction. Inspections will focus on confirming that installed works accurately reflect the approved design and meet the specified quality requirements.
The role requires practical knowledge of landscape construction and irrigation works, with the ability to identify installation or workmanship issues and communicate findings clearly to the appropriate project personnel.
Quality and Compliance
Quality monitoring will include reviewing materials and completed works against project specifications and identifying construction that does not conform to approved requirements. Inspection findings must be accurately documented to provide a clear record of site conditions and outstanding issues.
The Landscape Inspector will work collaboratively with the wider supervision team to address non-compliance matters and support coordinated progression of the landscape works.
What Required Skills You\'ll Bring
- Bachelor\'s degree or Diploma in an engineering discipline related to Landscape, Irrigation, Horticulture, Agriculture, or a related course from an accredited university.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction supervision of landscape and-or irrigation works.
- Practical understanding of landscape construction inspection.
- Ability to review landscape drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
