Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage medium to large EPC projects, ensuring high-quality structural engineering solutions
- Review and approve structural analyses, design calculations, drawings, specifications, and purchase requisitions
- Plan, organize, and delegate work to engineers and drafting staff within assigned projects
- Oversee inter-discipline checking activities, ensuring seamless integration across engineering functions
- Provide technical input for tenders and review client specifications, ensuring adherence to international codes and standards
- Conduct vendor document and drawing reviews, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements
- Prepare critical project documentation, including design basis reports and technical specifications
- Manage material procurement, ensuring timely availability and material control within assigned projects
- Ensure the efficient delivery of engineering outputs while maintaining budget constraints
- Lead technical meetings with clients, project management teams, operations, and fabrication yards to resolve project-related issues
- Conduct offshore site surveys, prepare survey reports, and support fabrication and installation phases
- Provide technical guidance to subcontractors, defining scope and ensuring contractual compliance
- Maintain adherence to HSE standards and company procedures throughout all project phases
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor\'s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Extensive experience in structural engineering within EPC projects
- Strong understanding of international codes and standards for structural engineering
- Proficiency in reviewing and approving engineering documents, vendor drawings, and material requisitions
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and coordinate across multiple engineering disciplines
- Experience conducting offshore site surveys and resolving fabrication and installation issues
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee technical meetings and stakeholder coordination
- Knowledge of structural analysis software and material procurement processes
