Key Responsibilities
* Inspect and supervise mechanical construction activities to ensure execution aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements
* Verify that integrated mechanical site works are completed on schedule, within budget, and in line with project guidelines
* Monitor construction progress through engineers’ reports and recommend corrective actions to keep projects on track
* Ensure contractors deploy appropriate equipment, materials, and resources to support smooth site operations
* Oversee site activities to confirm compliance with approved method statements, quality standards, and project procedures
* Conduct inspections against approved shop drawings, materials, and engineering submissions
* Support implementation of site controls and recommend improvements to departmental procedures where required
* Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental management systems across all site activities
* Verify compliance with governmental regulations and authority requirements
* Inspect and assess works related to piling, post-tension suspended slabs, precast walls, and structural steel components
* Demonstrate sound technical judgment during inspections and provide clear technical feedback to site teams
* Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Mechanical Manager or senior management
Ideal Profile
* Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
* Minimum 5 to 10 years of construction site experience for diploma holders or 5 plus years for bachelor’s degree holders
* Strong experience in mechanical inspection within large-scale building construction projects
* Solid understanding of construction methodologies and inspection procedures
* Knowledge of quality assurance, safety standards, and environmental compliance
* Ability to identify non-compliance issues and recommend corrective actions effectively
