Position Overview
Mace is hiring an experienced MEP Director to lead the delivery of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services for a portfolio of high-value mixed-use developments in Dubai. This role ensures projects meet time, cost, safety, and quality standards while driving innovation, sustainability, and stakeholder satisfaction. You will lead large technical teams and manage strategic relationships to deliver complex projects successfully.

What You’ll Do
* Lead the MEP team, ensuring clear direction, compliance, and adherence to Mace standards.
* Oversee successful MEP delivery, covering health and safety, quality control, programme milestones, and commissioning.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
* Support tendering and procurement processes, ensuring accurate scope definition and budget alignment.
* Review contracts, budgets, schedules, and assist commercial teams in managing project finances.
* Conduct design reviews for compliance, technical accuracy, and sustainability objectives.
* Implement commissioning strategies and ensure seamless project handover with proper documentation.
* Utilize digital tools for productivity analysis, performance tracking, and risk management.
* Lead project close-out, including client training and final approvals.
* Manage senior stakeholders and large multidisciplinary teams, providing coaching and performance oversight.
* Support carbon reduction and net-zero initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
Ideal Profile
* Degree in engineering or a related technical field.
* Proven expertise in MEP services and infrastructure within large-scale mixed-use developments.
* Experience in high-end hospitality projects.
* Extensive UAE experience, with strong knowledge of local codes and standards.
* Ability to manage complex teams and influence senior stakeholders effectively.
* Strong background in digital tools for design, coordination, and project management.
