PE Mechanical and Ventilation Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled PE Mechanical and Ventilation Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is essential in designing, implementing, and optimizing mechanical systems to ensure efficiency, reliability, and compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ventilation strategies that enhance indoor air quality and occupant comfort. This role requires close collaboration with architects, contractors, and other engineering professionals to develop innovative solutions for various projects, including commercial and residential developments.

Key Responsibilities
- Review and oversee the design of mechanical systems, including HVAC and ventilation systems
- Develop and implement mechanical and ventilation systems tailored to project specifications
- Conduct system performance analysis and recommend improvements for efficiency and effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with local and international codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
- Conduct airflow and thermal load calculations to support design choices
- Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and other professionals to integrate mechanical systems into building designs
- Prepare and review engineering calculations, specifications, drawings, and technical documentation
- Lead system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities to ensure proper functionality
- Monitor system performance post-installation and propose necessary enhancements
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout project development and implementation
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering with a specialization in ventilation systems
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC modeling programs
- Strong understanding of HVAC principles, tunnel and basement ventilation systems, and industry best practices
- Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with diverse teams
