Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end procurement of MEP materials, equipment, and subcontracted services
* Procure HVAC systems, chillers, ducts, cables, switchgear, pumps, lighting, generators, plumbing, and firefighting systems
* Review MEP BOQs, drawings, specifications, and material submittals prior to procurement
* Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders
* Float RFQs and RFPs, evaluate technical and commercial offers, and negotiate pricing and delivery terms
* Source, evaluate, and finalize approved MEP vendors and subcontractors
* Coordinate with MEP engineers, project managers, consultants, and site teams to align procurement with construction schedules
* Track order status, manufacturing progress, deliveries, and site handover
* Ensure materials comply with approved specifications, quality standards, and authority requirements
* Monitor procurement costs and support budget control and value engineering initiatives
* Maintain accurate procurement documentation, records, and reports
* Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and audit requirements
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
* 5–10 years of experience in MEP procurement within construction or real estate development environments
* Experience handling large-scale MEP packages for residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects
* Strong knowledge of MEP systems, materials, and procurement practices
* Ability to interpret MEP BOQs, drawings, and technical specifications
* Proven experience in vendor sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management
* Familiarity with ERP or procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar
* Strong coordination, follow-up, and stakeholder management skills
* Detail-oriented with a focus on quality, cost, and delivery timelines
