Key Responsibilities
* Execute day-to-day civil procurement activities for active construction projects
* Procure civil materials including cement, steel, blocks, concrete, formwork, waterproofing, and finishing materials
* Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders
* Obtain supplier quotations and prepare price comparison sheets
* Support vendor evaluation and selection processes
* Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and stores to confirm material requirements
* Follow up with suppliers on order confirmations, delivery schedules, and documentation
* Ensure procured materials meet approved specifications and quality standards
* Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor files, and reporting logs
* Support budget tracking and assist in cost control initiatives
* Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and audit requirements
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
* 3–6 years of experience in civil procurement within construction or real estate environments
* Experience supporting construction project procurement activities
* Basic to good knowledge of civil construction materials and procurement workflows
* Ability to interpret BOQs, drawings, and material specifications
* Experience in vendor coordination and follow-up
* Familiarity with ERP or procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar
* Good communication and coordination skills
* Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and timelines
