Role Context
The Quantity Surveyor manages project costs and contractual processes during the construction phase, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. The role supports project profitability by controlling costs, managing claims, and maintaining clear commercial records across all project activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Measure and price works based on drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities
* Manage interim payments, final accounts, and variation assessments
* Handle contractual correspondence and advise on commercial matters
* Review contractor payments and ensure compliance with contract terms
* Monitor project cash flow and maintain accurate cost records
* Prepare variations, day-works, and cost estimates
* Evaluate and negotiate claims and settlement agreements
* Coordinate with project teams to ensure financial control and reporting
* Prepare monthly financial statements and project reports
Ideal Profile
An experienced quantity surveyor with strong background in UAE infrastructure projects and post-contract administration. The candidate should demonstrate strong analytical skills, contract knowledge, and the ability to manage commercial aspects independently.
