Role Context
This role plays a critical leadership function in overseeing construction execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with quality and safety standards. It drives coordination between stakeholders, resolves technical challenges, and ensures adherence to project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise on-site engineering teams to ensure efficient project execution
* Conduct inspections of workmanship and materials to maintain quality standards
* Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues
* Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and change orders
* Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
* Ensure compliance with UAE building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
* Implement sustainable construction practices and support certification processes
* Utilize BIM tools for project coordination and efficiency
* Mentor junior engineers and support team development
* Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
* Minimum 20 years of experience in building engineering and project management
* Proven experience managing large-scale projects in the Middle East
* Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations and standards
* Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
