Position Overview
The Senior Cost Manager role at Mace Dubai supports the delivery of a landmark aviation development project involving major earthworks, infrastructure, sub-structure, and long-term airport expansion. This senior position provides strategic leadership across cost management, procurement, and commercial delivery while ensuring value, governance, and financial control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage large cost management teams, driving strategic objectives and continuous improvement
* Advise on procurement strategies, contract selection, and commercial approaches aligned with project goals
* Provide expert value management input during project initiation and early design stages
* Develop, own, and present detailed cost plans and financial forecasts
* Manage full procurement lifecycle including prequalification, tendering, evaluation, and contract preparation
* Build strong client, consultant, and contractor relationships to support successful delivery
* Oversee preparation and control of contract documentation, warranties, bonds, and licenses
* Deliver cost control, manage valuations, variations, claims, and final accounts
* Lead financial reporting, commercial risk management, and cost assurance activities
Ideal Profile
* Degree qualification in quantity surveying, cost management, or equivalent
* Professional membership such as MRICS or an equivalent recognized body
* Essential experience working in the Middle East on large-scale infrastructure or aviation projects
* Strong knowledge of procurement strategies, contract administration, and commercial management
* Proven leadership capability with experience managing teams and complex stakeholder environments
* Excellent communication, reporting, and commercial negotiation skills
