Structural Engineering Responsibilities
* Lead structural design and engineering activities for
facade, curtain wall, cladding, glazing, and aluminum systems.
* Perform structural calculations and analysis covering wind loads, dead loads, seismic loads, and other applicable design loads.
* Develop and review structural details for facade connections, brackets, anchors, and support systems.
* Review and approve structural drawings, shop drawings, engineering calculations, and technical submissions.
* Verify that proposed structural solutions satisfy relevant project specifications and performance requirements.
* Review material specifications, technical data sheets, and structural performance criteria.
* Ensure engineering solutions comply with applicable international codes and authority requirements.
Design Review and Technical Coordination
* Coordinate structural engineering requirements with architects, consultants, structural engineers, BIM teams, and project and site teams.
* Conduct technical reviews of facade designs and identify potential structural or constructability issues.
* Provide engineering solutions for design changes, site conditions, and technical challenges.
* Coordinate design requirements with manufacturing and production teams to ensure solutions are practical for fabrication.
